Every plant’s ability to retain wind driven sand is different; therefore the more varieties you
include the better erosion control you will obtain. Many plant species thrive in the dune ecosystem.
They are astonishingly tolerant to salinity, high temperature, wind abrasion and while prospering in dry
soil survive in temporary wet conditions. We grouped the following plants in three categories:
